They say rain on your wedding day is good luck. Erin + Connor really put that to the test when they planned their June Breckenridge cabin wedding!
Erin + Connor are high school sweethearts. World travelers. Best friends. They literally are THE definition of genuinely perfect match-made-in-heaven true love. They’d say their dreams came true on the day they got married – but truly, joining them for their rainy Breckenridge cabin wedding day, ours did, too.
Disclaimer: I’m super late to the game posting this day. Sometimes the best days are the hardest ones to blog because where do you start?
Our initial phone call was during the onset of Covid and went a little something like this: “if this whole thing is still happening next June (which was well over a year away at that point), what will we do?” We all laughed and laughed because we couldn’t have fathomed how long it would end up lasted. Jokes.
When we first met these two in person at their engagement session, it felt like greeting long lost friends. It rained that day, too. Check it out here!
Nothing is more Colorado than a Breckenridge cabin wedding.
The storm began to roll in just after their first look & private vows. We snagged some fun shots with the umbrella before heading inside. As most mountain rainstorms roll through quickly, this one settled into the valley and didn’t let up. We attempted to wait it out before eventually making the call to have the ceremony indoors. These two are no strangers to rolling with it, and they were total champs about the plan change.
Custom camp mugs. A stone fireplace. The Blue River. Friends, family. All the perfect things you could want at your wedding – all rolled into one beautiful day. Even despite the rain.

WOW. Just wow. Tears flowing down my face. I saw this email that our film was ready while I was at work and I instantly texted Connor that it was here!! I promised to watch it first with him when I got home…that was the longest 12 hours of my life haha. But it was so worth it!!! The video is everything we could’ve hoped for and more! You two are just so good at what you do and we are so thankful we chose you to document our wedding day. The song- what!! So perfect! And all of the shots and clips you guys chose were absolutely amazing. It brought back amazing memories from that day and I can’t want to watch this over and over and over again. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts- we could not be more grateful to have met you two and have you there on our big day.
