Let’s plan a winter engagement at Sapphire Point, just like Anna & Chad did!
Anna & Chad joined us all the way from South Dakota for their winter engagement at Sapphire Point! They wanted mountains, so mountains we gave them!
Have you been to Sapphire Point Overlook?
Sapphire is one of the most popular viewpoint locations in Summit County – and we can’t say we don’t see why! Located on Swan Mountain Road, it’s situated between Frisco, Dillon/Silverthorne, & Breckenridge with gorgeous views of the Ten Mile Range & Lake Dillon. It’s especially a popular & great spot in the winter, as it’s easily accessible due to Swan Mountain Road always being plowed!
A few things to consider when considering Sapphire Point in the winter:
- Engagement sessions don’t need a permit, but elopements & weddings do! If you’re planning a ceremony, the calendar opens exactly 6 months out. Here’s the link to book your date & time slot!
- It’s super popular & can get crowded! If privacy is a priority, this might not be the right choice for you.
- Bring boots during the winter months – here that’s October through April! The trail leading down to the overlook can get very icy!
I hope that helps! Happy Sapphire Point planning!
I’ve (Shanna) known Anna since high school. We were on opposing softball teams for several years before our teams joined together. We played a lot of years of ball together & always had the best time. It was such an honor when she connected about hiring us for their engagement session & wedding!
Take a look!
