“The meadow always slaps” – this is true, and especially so with Dani & Sean. They donned their western wear for their Fairplay engagement session & it was smokin’!
Y’all know we love our little hometown of Fairplay, CO. What started as a decision caked in “slightly-more-affordable and still-close-to-Breckenridge”, has become an absolutely-couldn’t-imagine-living-anywhere-else choice that we feel so grateful for every single day.
Fairplay has Burro Days. It has fly-fishing & the Colorado Cantina & Front Street & the boys’ outdoor school. It has many of the best people we know. It has my favorite Fairplay engagement session & wedding locations. It has small-town charm not yet taken over by resorts & too much tourism. Somehow, it’s held on to all the things that make rural America & specifically rural Colorado so great.
We love it here.
Fairplay also has Dani & Sean, and isn’t that the luckiest for all of us?
Dani & Sean are a Hallmark small-town romance story come true. Two of the best, most deserving people found each other at just the right time & we were all just lucky enough to watch in unfold IRL.
I’m so grateful for Dani’s friendship, and now, Sean’s, too. From field trip chaperones to lunch date margs, from rec league kickball to the hot springs with the kids, from birthday parties to happy hours, from the normal gonna-wear-sweatpants-no-makeup days to the biggest dress-up-in-white days. Huge shout out to Axl & Cope for helping sprout this invaluable friendship. We owe you, kiddos.🫶🏼

Engagement sessions are so fun & something I recommend for every couple that hires us. Even if you don’t hire us, honestly – just don’t skimp on the engagement session! A few reasons why I love ’em:

With Dani & Sean, we didn’t need to meet for the first time & they sure as heck didn’t need to get comfortable in front of the camera. BUT, they diiiiid need an excuse to bust out their fanciest western wear. So, that’s exactly what they did!
Dani’s sexy black lace dress paired perfectly with her black hat & boots, and I need say no more about her beautiful fur jacket! Sean looked extra sharp in a black trench coat & tan hat. The silver & turquoise accessories were the cherry on top of a perfectly pieced together ensemble.
I’ve already said so much. So, with that:
