Sometimes I get to play Sioux Falls family photographer. 🙂 We may have lived more than the last decade in CO, but South Dakota will always have my heart.
These are the days they tell us to never forget.
There’s so much joy in friendships that withstand the test of time. And this opportunity to play Sioux Falls family photographer, this time photographing my dear college friend, Melissa’s, family was the sweetest reminder of just how true that is.
From house parties to play dates.
From tears over exes to kisses that fix any owie.
From rooms across the hall to houses across the country.
Lake weekends. Study sessions. A shared “after school job” and first “real jobs.” Roommates, book clubs. Weddings.
And now almost 7 babies & half as many states between us.
But still, friends.
We played a lot of beer pong and dances to a lot of Hilary Duff, and maybe those were the days, but I think these might be even better.
