The trees dance and the mountains sang for JQ + Blake. They planned their sunrise Colorado hiking elopement in just 6 days & it was perfect.

These two starry-eyed lovers booked us less than a week before their sunrise Colorado hiking elopement day. As the story goes, their wedding was cancelled and they weren’t sure what to do. On a whim & with all the confidence in the world, they said HECK, we’re doing this! And they did. We met up with them and their parents as the sun slowly peeked above the peaks to begin our trek up to their favorite mountaintop.

We hiked 9 miles on this beautiful August morning with JQ + Blake, and every single step and tear (was it their vows or my achin’ feet – I’ll never tell) was worth it tenfold. Everyone laughed as “just around the corner” was rarely true and there wasn’t a dry eye on the peak during their heartfelt ceremony.
