Tiffany & Amos hosted the most perfect outdoor wedding at Blackstone Rivers Ranch. It was so perfect it’s taken us years to blog about it! Some wedding days & couples are just like that – difficult to even put into words that adequately share just how wonderful it was.
One of the most incredible things about this job are the clients turned friends. The pieces of stories we get to be a part of along the way.
For Tiffany & Amos, first the engagement session in Moab – THEE red dress!

And most recently, a second family & maternity session squeezed into a quick trip to Colorado to celebrate the soon-arrival of their daughter, Snow.

When starting our search for the perfect wedding photographer and videographer, we knew we wanted someone up for adventure and an artistic touch to capture our special day. After we saw Basecamp Visual’s beautiful website and their footage from Iceland, we were sold! Add to that a super friendly and warm phone consultation with Shanna and we were like, “Where do we sign!?” Little did we know we were signing up to work with the dream team who would create a perfectly cohesive engagement photo/video and wedding photo/video suite all edited with the same artistic edge. I think we underestimated just how much we would appreciate our photos and videos having a similar look, which really ties them all together.
We so appreciate how patient Dave and Shanna were with us as we made plan after plan to make all of our sessions happen facing freak snowstorms, last-minute rental home cancellations, a pup’s torn ACL, our wedding being postponed several times as a result of pandemic shutdowns, the list goes on and on. One of our favorite things about Basecamp Visual was the mutual sense of adventure. When we asked them to meet us in a remote, off-grid campsite deep in a canyon in Moab for our engagement session, they didn’t hesitate and welcomed any and all challenges it would present. Likewise, when they asked us if we’d be okay walking through the woods in the rain to find a hidden waterfall in our wedding attire right before our wedding ceremony, we responded, “Let’s do this!” The adventure made these moments that much more memorable, and we really did get the most epic footage that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.
We are so grateful we chose Basecamp Visual to capture these special moments for us and didn’t realize just how much we would miss hanging out with them when it was all over.
