What’s life without constant growth, right? We’re learning that in business and in parenthood and in life, things are ever-evolving. New seasons call for new stories, and sometimes, what made sense before doesn’t necessarily make sense now.
Just as our art has grown, Basecamp has, too. We’re deep in our own season of parenthood & building our forever home, and it only makes sense to finally recognize that maybe we’re just the people to tell the stories of those who are in a similar place in life. It no longer makes sense for us to only focus on one or two types of love stories.
Love is too big to be boxed in.
All that to announce – we are officially introducing documentary family photo sessions in Colorado!
I believe so strongly in the little moments – piggyback rides in the backyard, dancing in the kitchen, cuddles on your favorite blanket, catching frogs & chasing fireflies, warm embraces and glee filled giggles. Our family sessions are based around these normal, everyday moments. Dirt under your toddler’s fingernails, the rolls of your baby’s thighs, wind blown hair, interlaced fingers, and stolen glances of pure love & joy.
You can expect minimal direction, few poses, and most importantly, beautiful, real images to cherish for a lifetime.
Growth, for us here at Basecamp, is recognizing that all your stories are love stories. We want this brand to encompass each and every way you #exploreyourstory. At our core, we’re still about love stories and always will be. BUT, the cool part is, is that love looks like a lot of things. It’s the love of your family. The love of your small business. It the heart and the tears that you put into what you’re passionate about every single day. That’s what Basecamp is about, and we want to expand beyond your wedding days to help you show the world where else your heart lies.
We hope that we can form a connection that stretches across all of life’s big pieces. Maybe we’ll photograph your wedding, and then later your new headshots, and then eventually, your family. They’re all important and they’re all worthy of documenting.
