Ethereal bridal portraits in an old Colorado cemetary? Yes, please. The Doc Holliday grave trailhead in Glenwood Springs fit the bill perfectly!

We were so thrilled when Bethani & Skylar reached out to discuss photographing bridal portraits for them! Skylar is our dear friend & past client, Tiffany’s, brother! You remember Tiffany! Her wedding to Amos can be seen here. Or their engagement session here!
Bethani & Skylar agreed to meet us in Glenwood Springs for their ethereal bridal portraits – a perfect in-the-middle meeting spot for them in Utah & us!
Glenwood Springs is home to the famous Doc Holliday gravesite. Holliday is described on Wikipedia as an “American dentist, gambler, and gunfighter” – yes, I just checked. He reportedly lived a colorful life & died in Glenwood at the young age of 36. Colorado Wild West history lesson 101.
If you’re not sold yet on his gravesite trail being the perfect spot for beautiful, ethereal bridal portraits what are ya doing? Haha!
When they arrived & Bethani changed into her gorgeous, long-sleeved wedding dress, it sealed the deal as the perfect location for their photos! We strolled through the area, taking in the views & chatting about their wedding plans (a beautiful celebration at the temple in SLC!) & lives. It was such a lovely morning!
We’re so thankful Bethani & Skylar trusted our recommendation. Take a look at some of our favorites from their gallery!
