We’re IN LOVE with these Eclectic Vintage Wedding Vibes at Casa Coyote, Colorado

We traded epic mountains for the vast prairie to photograph Brittny & Doug’s colorful, eclectic vintage wedding (actually, their 10 year vow renewal!) at Casa Coyote! What a beautiful celebration!

An eclectic vintage wedding on the prairies of Colorado? YES PLEASE.

When Brittny & Doug tied the knot ten years ago, there wasn’t a big dress, a fancy venue, or a huge crowd of witnesses. But love has a funny way of growing, and over the past decade, their life has blossomed—six beautiful children, a home full of memories, and a love story that just keeps getting better.

When Brittny & Doug decided to renew their vows, they went all in—eclectic vintage wedding style.

We’ve known Brittny for years! She photographed our family as we were anticipating our third little dude – and was even there with us for his birth & the sweetest fresh 48 session in the hours following. She’s the kindest, sweetest soul, and it the biggest honor to be asked to photograph her own life’s milestone!

Set against the wild and whimsical backdrop of colorful Colorado, this wasn’t just a vow renewal.

It was a family-filled, joy-soaked celebration of everything Brittny & Doug have built together. Think: bold colors, heirloom touches, vintage finds, and a whole lot of heart.

The day began with quiet moments and deep roots—literally. We joined the couple at Brittny’s grandma’s homestead, where the Colorado sun lit up the rolling landscape. The stories & love of this family could almost be felt in the air. Surrounded by the echoes of family history, the couple shared laughs & soaked in the meaning of the moment.

Then it was off to Casa Coyote! This place is a desert dream tucked into the hills. It was the perfect setting for a celebration that was anything but ordinary.

Mismatched antique chairs for guests
Carefully collected vintage dinnerware – antique plates & glassware & mugs.
Candles & disco balls.
Plants & the most delicious retro style multi-tiered cake!

The vibe? Think hillbilly extravaganza (a term lovingly coined by the couple) in the best possible way.

This eclectic vintage wedding-themed renewal was bursting with texture, color, and intention—from the boho blooms to the handpicked glassware and layered textiles. Every detail whispered of nostalgia and screamed with personality. It was intimate, but never quiet; heartfelt, but never stuffy. Their kids took center stage – and made it clear that this wasn’t just about a couple, but a whole family.

As the sun dipped behind the mountains and the twinkle lights came to life, the evening turned into a full-blown bash. There was laughter, barefoot dancing, a WEDDING CAKE PIÑATA, and the absolutely best bride & groom cake smash. It was messy and magical and everything an epic love story deserves.

Brittny & Doug’s eclectic vintage wedding vow renewal wasn’t about recreating the wedding they never had. It was about celebrating the beautiful life they’ve built. And honestly? It was perfect.
