We had Brooke + Jacob’s Blue Lakes, Breckenridge engagement session planned for a day a massive snowstorm was due to come through the area. Not wanting to get snowed out, we made a new plan! With about 30 minutes notice we switched it to the day before. Major kudos to Brooke for getting ready at warp speed!

The gravel road to Blue Lakes closes every winter and it felt like a true miracle it stayed open as late into the season as it did! The lakes & waterfall were frozen, and the mountains were covered with a beautiful dusting of snow. It was majestic.

Brooke + Jacob brought along sweet Buddy boy, and the entire session was a dream. You’ll love it.

The mountains are more magical with snow on them and no one can tell me otherwise.
