“and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you” – e.e. cummings
I recently had the privilege of partnering with Justyna E Butler Photography on the dreamiest anniversary shoot in Rocky Mountain National Park. Sarah & David were incredible to work with; thanks for including me, you two!
We hiked the 2.5 miles up to Dream Lake and were able to get some beautiful shots. I think you’ll agree that it doesn’t get much better than love and some snow capped mountains. I am so excited to share this film with you!
Here are a few of my favorite shots from Justyna. To see her full blog post, head over to her site!

Do you have an idea for an epic elopement or anniversary film? Let’s talk about it!
As Breckenridge was coated in fluffy snow, Joe & Katie, with only myself, the photographer, and officiant as their witnesses, said their “I do’s” in this snowy elopement film.
This day couldn’t have been more beautiful (once I finally made it there!). I couldn’t be happier for Joe & Katie!
Breckenridge is normally about a 2 hour drive from where we live in Colorado Springs. On this day, though, in one of the worst blizzards I’ve been in, and topped with multiple road closures, it took me over 9! I was so grateful by the time I got there and definitely know I’ll plan to head out the day before for any future mountain elopements or weddings!
Sapphire Point Lookout over Lake Dillon & The Lodge at Breckenridge served as the backdrop for this snowy day. It couldn’t have been a more perfect day – even though I got stuck in the snow and the photographer, Emily, had to help dig me out. 🙂

How beautiful is Colorado in the winter? I had been wanting to snag some great aerial shots with my drone for a short film featuring a favorite artist, and the first snow of the season did not disappoint! Anyone who knows me likely also knows about my man crush on Matt Wertz. The guy can do no wrong when it comes to great music! It’s my life and career goal to shoot a music video for him sometime. So, if you’re reading this and you know him, hook me up!
I’ve found (really to no surprise!) that adding aerial shots into my videos adds just an extra “pop” of visual interest. Living in Colorado, it’s easy to get beautiful content, so there’s really no excuse not to get out there any fly. I hope you enjoy it!
Do you have an idea for a music video or aerial film? Let’s chat!
Our friend, Brianne, recently released her first EP and contacted me to produce a music video with aerial shots in the Colorado high country! Bri is a longtime friend of both me and Shanna – she even photographed our wedding! – and we couldn’t be more excited for her! Please take a moment to check out this film of her title track, Ever Faithful & the beautiful Rocky Mountains mountains of Colorado.

A fashion staple in Old Colorado City, Barracuda Bazaar Boutique exudes life and energy. From the clothing to the quirky and unique gifts, Barracuda has something for everyone.
For this brand piece video, I had the opportunity to sit down with the store’s owner, Kim McKenna, as she shared pieces of it’s history and the many things that make this store great. Living true to its motto, “beautiful should always be affordable,” I think you’ll love this shop just as much as it’s many faithful patrons, including my wife, Shanna, do.
May this inspire you to support local, family owned businesses. #shopsmall
