To all the moms – Happy Mother’s Day!
I had the privilege of teaming up with the creative partners of Red Rock Church this past Spring to produce a lifestyle film honoring moms on Mother’s Day. We interviewed the moms and asked them about the hard parts of motherhood. We heard their stories about how the feel they are failing, about what they worry about every day.
Then, we brought in the kids. I can’t wait for you to hear what they had to say about their moms. As you can probably imagine, the perception the moms had that they weren’t doing enough was completely inaccurate in their children’s eyes.
April 22nd. Your birthday. It wasn’t just an ordinary Wednesday. Not for us. It was the very best day of my life. Happy Birthday, my sweet Neeson Foley. You made me a mom. You have changed me, for good, forever. -Shanna, wife & mama
What is there to really say about the best day of your life? The choice to produce Neeson’s birth story film was an easy one, and one we’ll always cherish.
Neeson Foley McCann was born on April 22, 2015 at 12:07 in the afternoon. Every moment since then has been magic. Being a dad to this kid exceeds all my expectations of parenthood. He makes most days a little crazier and every day so much better.
I hope you enjoy his birth story film.

I think the most important thing for a child is to have a good family. -Lois
The opportunity to film Stub & Lois’ lifestyle story was an honor I am thankful for. From the moment Shanna and I met it was clear how important her grandparents are to her and her entire family. Stub and Lois are two of the kindest and most generous people I’ve ever met, and I feel thankful that I am able to consider them family.
For our 3rd wedding anniversary this past August, I surprised Shanna with this video. I hope that it will be a cherished piece her entire family will love for years to come.

Small business brand piece videos may easily be among my favorites to shoot. The stories that these entrepreneurs have to tell are incredible and inspiring!
I met Erica through my wife, Shanna, who used to work for her at her shop in Old Colorado City, Earthen Artisan House. Though EAH has since closed it’s doors, Erica was kind enough to share her new adventure with me – Cafe Earth. A small business of sustainable, beautiful, and good-for-you products, Cafe Earth is sure to “soothe and entice you inside and out.”
