Wow! This amazing Westcliffe, Colorado wedding blew our minds. I thought I knew exactly where we felt most at home in the mountains, until we visited Westcliffe & fell in love with small town Colorado all over again.
We’re based near Breckenridge and are BEYOND grateful for the countless incredible weddings here, but WOW – have you ever been to a wedding in Westcliffe? Pick our jaws up off the floor.
Westcliffe, CO is a small town in southern Colorado, tucked between the Sangre de Cristo Range to the west, and the Wet Mountains to the east. It’s also a designated dark sky community. How cool is that?
Laura & Clay’s incredible wedding day was way back in 2020, just months after Dave’s ski accident. I don’t know why it’s taken this long to share this beautiful day! Bear with me, there was a lot going on in 2020, haha. Some wedding days are truly timeless, offering real inspiration of what it looks like to plan a beautiful and classy intimate backyard wedding.
Not much by way of decor was needed for this gorgeous Westcliffe intimate wedding (I mean, LOOK AT THOSE VIEWS), but they went all out anyway!

Thinking back to all our 2020 weddings, what we really loved was how intentional they all were. Each choice had to been deeply thought-out, and in turn, ended up being deeply meaningful.
I think our favorite part of this one was the grandparents.
Gorgeous, sparkly gowns. A first look that’ll bring you to tears. You MUST scroll at least far enough to see the sweetest photo of gramma taking cell phone photos during the ceremony.
It’s this kind of joy – being witness to this kind of pure love & support – that absolutely makes any of the tough stuff about this job well worth it.
We’d love for y‘all to watch their wedding film. It’s powerful & such a simple, beautiful reminder of what love is all about.
