Can We book you for only 1 service? Like, Photo only or video only?

 

Sure! We’ll gladly book single services (photo only or video only), and promise to play nice with your other vendors. But, we do encourage you to consider the many benefits of booking us for both. Click here to read why!

 

Are you LGBTQ+ friendly?

 

You bet we are! Love is love is love and all are celebrated here.

 

What are the payment terms?

 

We require a 50% nonrefundable retainer of the package total to secure your date or session. The remaining balance is due in full no less than 14 days prior to your event date. Destination weddings and elopements follow a slightly different payment schedule.

 

Can we get the raw footage and/or images, too?

 

We do not offer RAW video footage or images at this time.

 

How will I receive my final gallery and/or film?

 

You will receive your film via digital download. Your image gallery will be available via a password protected online gallery. You may order prints, canvases, albums, etc. directly from our print shop. You can also download your gallery in its entirety and print as you wish from there; however, print quality cannot be guaranteed from outside printers. Heirloom USBs are included with our highest packages and can be purchased as an add-on for an additional cost.

How Soon will we get our final gallery & film?

 

In most cases, you can expect to receive your finished film in around 5 months. Completed galleries are sent sooner. We take great care to carefully curate both your photos & film – which does take time. If we expect the time of completion to stretch beyond the contracted time, we will be in contact with an updated timeline. Social media teasers, which are also available as an add-on, can be expected within 1-2 weeks. We like to share a full photo sneak peeks via social media (so make sure you follow us!) in the 2-3 days immediately following your day.

 

Can we choose the music for our film?

 

There are several copyright and licensing laws regarding the music used in completed films. Love something popular from the radio? Unfortunately, we likely can't use it. No worries, though - Dave is a lifelong musician and has a great knack for choosing music we can license and therefore legally use in your film. You can watch any of our work to get a feel for the vibes we tend to stick to. We promise you won't be disappointed.

 

Do you have a drone?

 

Yes! Drone coverage is included in all of our video and combined elopement and wedding packages. PLEASE NOTE – drone coverage from your event is completely contingent on weather and location. Your timeline also plays a part in whether we can fly. Many areas are strict about their flight rules, and some venues, locations (all national parks), and cities (Vail) have banned drone use all together. If you happen to be hosting your big day in an area that does not allow drones, we have an archive of location and seasonally appropriate footage we would be happy to include in your film at no cost.

Will you plan my elopement for me, too?

 

If you’re eloping with less than 10 guests and want help planning, we offer it as an add-on! It includes timeline creation, location recommendation & selection, and exclusive local vendor referrals. We do not offer planning for larger guest counts.

Our wedding & elopement photo & video collections and starting prices can be found here. Prices vary depending on your exact needs, but these can give you a good base. We also offer fully customized options if you don't see something that fits!

 

Do you travel?

 

Absolutely – if you ask really nice & pay us more! :)

 

We have all-inclusive travel rates available for the continental US and international locations.

 

Will I need to pay travel fees in COlorado?

 

All travel throughout the state of Colorado is included in our 6+ hour packages. Travel fees may apply if you’d like to book our 4 hours or less options outside of Park & Summit counties.

 

How many photographers/videographers will be attending my wedding or elopement?

 

Depending on the package you purchase, anywhere from 1-3. This is determined at our discretion and based on our schedule and the details of your event. Shanna is our lead photographer & Dave is our lead videographer.

 

The quality of your film and gallery are in no way compromised by the number of shooters; we often solo shoot and come away with incredible footage! Guaranteed additional shooters can be added on to your package for an additional fee; of course, if WE decide or have the availability to bring along a second (or third or fourth) that is at no cost to you.

We'd love the full ceremony and toasts on video, too. Can we get those?

 

Yep! The ceremony film is included in each of our packages and the speeches are available for an extra fee. We refer to these as “rough cut” ceremony and toast films. They are separate files of your ceremony and toasts in their entirety. We call them “rough cuts” as they are not artistically edited or colored. During your wedding day, we are always shooting for your film, not necessarily for the rough cuts, which means that we like to move positions and switch angles often to maximize the unique shots during each moment of your day. We will normally film a ceremony with 2-3 cameras; while the goal is always to have at least one usable shot, there are sometimes outside factors (a change in lighting on or a guest blocking a stationary camera, etc) that cannot be resolved in the moment, so you’ll find that these rough cuts do sometimes include less than “perfect” shots.
