A rainy start to the day didn’t even come close to dampening the abundant joy of Scarlet & Spencer’s fall wedding at the Breckenridge Nordic Center.

They’re high school sweethearts & the custom drink of the night was the Fender Bender(!!!), honoring their sweet pup, Fender.🐾

I could also tell you about the way the rain made the last of the fall colors pop! Or I could tell you about the gorgeous DIY Trader Joe’s flowers with real Aspen branches. Maybe you’d also love to hear about the exciting Persian knife dance performed by Scarlet’s uncle. Or the way the Breckenridge Nordic Center (one of our favorite Breckenridge wedding venues!) sparkled as the sun went down. Or the way these two looked at each other as they were surrounded by their families & friends, celebrating the day in the making since they were teenagers.

Love all those things. But – how cute is the Fender Bender.🥹

Scarlet & Spencer shared the kindest words about choosing us as their wedding photographer.

WOW!!!! These are beyond AMAZING!! We had so much fun last night swiping through all of the photos and reminiscing on what a great day it was. I’m seriously trying to restrain myself from posting every single photo at once (I MIGHT!!). You did such a phenomenal job of capturing the day, and we couldn’t be more grateful. SO the right move to do photos outside!!! haha. These look like scenes from a movie!! Everything worked out so great and we can’t wait to share these with our friends and family. 

This wedding started with a torrential downpour all morning. You know in Colorado we’ll never complain about a good rain, but you also don’t want it to negatively affect a couple’s wedding day. After a quick chat with Scarlet, we just shifted the first look plans from off-site to right there at the venue (with a promise that our clear umbrellas make for super cute photos), and the rest of the day went off without a hitch!

Scarlet & Spencer planned such a sweet wedding at the Breckenridge Nordic Center. This venue is located right in town, surrounded by trees. And because we know you love the mountains – it has beautiful views of Peak 8.

We love the flat, grassy lawn for ceremonies, and the Oh Be Joyful Lodge is quintessential Colorado & perfect for receptions. Decorate it up, or keep things simple like Scarlet & Spencer did, and let this gorgeous Breckenridge venue speak for itself.

A few sweet, simple, and personalized fall decor items tied it all together.

I loved the wooden ski seating chart with the golden aspen branches. The simple red table runners were the perfect pop of color. AND, Scarlet is a self-proclaimed doodler, and created the COOLEST piece of art for their guest book & gift table, showcasing all the million little parts of their relationship.
